Notes About Photo Cakes

• After placing your order, you can send us your photo as a digital image in one of the common electronic formats such as JPG via email (see below for a comprehensive list of acceptable formats) or as a hard copy i.e. the actual photo via post, which we will scan, print and send back to you by post.
• Obviously if you're in a hurry, it'd be safer if you email us a digital image instead of posting the actual photo, which also guarantees a higher quality print. You can send your digital image to the email address that will be provided to you upon receiving your order.
• We're happy to edit and alter images as per your instruction, however please note that it may involve extra charges and although our graphic designers will do their best, but we cannot accept any responsibility if you don't like the end result. So if you're meticulous or want to ensure there'll be no surprises you'd better do your own editing.
• If you want to use a hard copy photo, send it to us together with a self-addressed envelope and make sure it's of the highest quality possible, because although we use high resolution scanners, but the process of scanning an image inherently involves some deterioration in both colour and resolution.
• Please also note that we cannot accept any responsibilities if anything happens to your photo in the post; so if you want to be on the safe side, either bring it to our shop or use appropriate packaging and send it by recorded delivery. We'll send it back in the self-addressed envelope that you've sent to us or keep it for your collection if you prefer.
• If you want to use a hard copy photo, please allow for the normal delay caused by the postal service; if you're in a hurry, you'd better find someone to scan it for you and email the scanned image to us.
• Please also note that you can send us as many photos as you want, we'll scan and print all of them without any additional charges as long as it fits on your cake.

Acceptable formats for digital images

If you're sending us a digital image for your photo cake, we prefer JPG or JPEG, but you'd be pleased to know that we accept most of the common file formats. Following is a comprehensive list of acceptable.

Please bear in mind that although we can work with all the following formats, however, common sense and good practices still apply; so for instance if your image is very large, it'd be safer, more efficient and practical to send it in one of the more compact formats such as JPG/JPEG.
